Quick help needed please... I have a 2.35 cubic foot enclosure for 4 E8's powered by an SAE 1200.

I'm going to use a 6" port, can't make my mind what to tune it to 30-35 hz. Is a 6" port, 28.26 sqare inches to much port area for this combo? I see people using a single 6" port for up to 4 cubes. I'm a little worried about the subs unloading and damaging the suspension.

No, that is definitely not too much. You would probably need four times that amount before I'd begin worrying about too much. You'll only unload the subs if you play below tuning.
