First off I want to say I'm not trying to start anything just a thought that came to my mind.

As a team are you guys more the daily/ground pounder type?

I know ssa subs are geared towards sq/groundpounders so I was just wondering if you guys do the sq thing or if you do go for numbers?

we go for daily ... haha nice sounding setups.. but dont let that fool you we will still slap up some numbers. i mean thumper did 145 at 10hrz off 4 tens kind of carzy

ok I was just wondering because I see all of these 28 and 30 tuned boxes

and that isn't really a number box even mine is going to be very low for numbers at 35hz

ya from what i hear through the grape vine we have someone doing an spl setup with some crazy numbers hopefully they chime in... i shall not spill the beans... any who i did a 142.7 at 32hrz out of a trunk not on full power with 2 icon tens. i mean im sure when mark had them in his truck he was easily doing 45+ with low box tunning so the numbers are thier even though they are tunned low. dont let the SQ full you people the out put on ssa subs is just amazing

don't worry I'm not the kind of person who automatically thinks sq is quiet

my favorite system was 2 12" xxx off of on of orion's "the beast" amps sounded awesome and got very low

i would love to test a xcon and a xxx head to head ...

Daily for me as well. Im working on a little spl right now. A 145+ at the headrest with 1200wrms clamped. Got a few more batteries and a little more tuning im gonna try again if i can. Cant complain though, those are some good numbers on that kinda power imo. All i need is a free 3000d :P

I burped a 147 with my subs brand new out of the box and run down batteries with an amp that

was shutting down from voltage drop......I gained at least 3db over the last couple weeks of break in

and I still have the Electrical to deal with

my system is tuned for a flat response....

I want my system to wow people with tightness and detail VS numbers

I have seen some xxx tuned extremely low. How do the xcon's perform in boxes tuned very low. lets say from 25 to 30 hz????

TeamSSA was never really intended to be SPL only. There are a few show cars, SQ guys and bass racers. :)

basically we have a more laxed attitude. We want to compete and have fun mostly. We are not going after any world titles yet...

lol i think mark maybe cooking something up :coolugh:

Donate money to my bank account ill make world records happen =p
