April 27, 200520 yr So if it is happening, then I need to shop for an amp! Yippie...I already built a box, and may throw another sub in there for the meantime...a 10" POS outta do it, and certainly highlight the 12 when it arrives.Getting anxious.
April 27, 200520 yr Admin there seems to be about 5 people in limbo, which could translate into about 7 subs..
April 27, 200520 yr there seems to be about 5 people in limbo, which could translate into about 7 subs.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I must say that I am new to this stuff. I had a JL Audio stealthbox taken from my truck. 10". It was powered by the Alpine MRV-500 and it never hit like I wanted. The sound was great, just not much punch. So I do not know if it was the sub, or the amp. With these, I know that the Amp will not like running to 1 ohm, or at least that is the consensus. This is why I am on the fence. The Alpine will likely go into the wife's car, with a home made box, and for that reason the D2 may not be the best choice. The D2 will go into my truck in a home made box (sealed) that I am most likely going to run with a Hifonics BX1500D, which can be had online for $200. I am hoping for JLW7 quality and quantity sound from this setup...-Crash
April 27, 200520 yr Author Also, as I said, e-mails will be going out to those confirmed to be sure they are still in. If anyone fails to respond or changes their mind, obviously they'll have to be taken off the list and their confirmation dropped.

April 27, 200520 yr Author Updated again scoot we hit the magic 15, I save we give it just a couple mroe days than BLAMO, lets hit it Yup. I figured give it 2 or 3 days for me to receive confirmation e-mails back, and then keep it open for another 2 or 3 days to let any last stragglers make it in.But I didn't want to limit the timeframe quite yet incase any of the original confirmations backed out.......

THanks.Last I checked, Soundsplinter does accept paypal which allows you to use a credit card (that's how I paid for my sub).
