well this is just a thought i had, it wouldnt happen for a while, there are a lot of things i want to get done before this but what do you all think about black powder coated stock rims on my Impala?

i photoshopped a couple pics to get an idea what they would look like

discuss por favor

I like the rims you have on there now better, IMO.

On a related note, my rims look like that now, but i didn't have to pay anything for it...damn brake dust and dirt :(

try a photshop with just the star part black and leave the outer rim polished....

otherwise, that doesn't look good..

u need to get the rally wheels that came on the police cars..powdercoat the rim tht solor of ur car and leave the center cap and beauty ring chrome...

see if i can't find a pic..

i've seen the spokes black with a polished lip before and i dont really like it

and i dont really want to put steelies on my car and i think if they were the same color, it'd look funky

No, NO, and NOOOOOOOOOOO.

Get some larger aftermarket Impala rims, or I have seen a few with the Z06 wheels.  They look really nice.  A dark paint needs chrome or polished aluminum.

tell that to the guys running black rims on their black Impalas

hey, there's a burgandy cop car rolling around here with the "steelies" as tom put it...looks tough as nails!!

but i agree with ryan..that's just toomuch black..u need to have something polished or chrome to offset..

the z06 wheels would be sharp...

I am a big fan of both the Ford anc Chevy police vehicles with the steel wheels. It just makes them look aggressive. I like it. I just don't think it would work well for the IMP. That particular vehicle is kinda like, "Hey, I look good and can give some things a whoop ass." The cop cars are like, "You don't wanna fu ck with me!"
