Posted June 30, 200916 yr I ordered a BL15 today with all the options and a green dust cap. I'm going to order 1/0 wire as mine are 4 gauge right now. I have a ZX1000.1 for the sub. I have a guy that's going to help with building a custom fiberglass ported box. I have a '05 Mercury Mariner. Other than the bigger power/ground wire to 1/0 should I add a battery in the back? The other amp for the front Focal components is a ZR240.

July 1, 200916 yr for around 1000 watts, I'd just upgrade the front battery. You dont need an extra battery unless you want to listen to music for a while without the car running.
