Posted July 17, 200916 yr I sold my bl 18's and both my sundown saz-1500ds and thought I was getting out of audio for a while. But, that didnt last long. I have plenty of room, 98 expedition. I want at least what i had, would like more. I pretty sure leaning to gettin 4 BL 18s this time and walling right behind front seats. i already deadened whole truck, got all wire still in truck. Would 2 Saz-2000d's be enough for 4 18s or 2 audioque 2200d's? I know thats only 1000-1100 watts per sub, but I really dont want to run 4 amps like 4 1500d's. If I could find 1 big amp that would be good for all 4 I will do that. Any suggestions or just go with 1 of the 2 amps above?
July 17, 200916 yr The RMS of the BLs is 1000, so 1000-1100 watts per sub is perfectly fine. No need to put 1500 on them. You could even just do one SAZ3500.
July 19, 200916 yr Or get the Saz4500like 1200 to each subthats what i was thinking would be perfect .but there is that waiting factor.
July 19, 200916 yr Or get the Saz4500like 1200 to each subthats what i was thinking would be perfect .but there is that waiting factor.I think it will be worth the wait unless you wanna get the SAZ-3500D instead which I think once you get everything in and tested you will probably still wanna get the SAZ-4500D when it comes out or just get 2-SAZ-2000D's if you wanna run two amps. but you will have alot of work ahead of you so waiting on that 4500D wont seem like too long
July 20, 200916 yr 2 saz3500d will be better.no matter what that is alot of power.you might want to think about 16v
July 21, 200916 yr Author Its not a whole lot of work, so really dont want to wait on the 4500. I have everything except amps and subs, and starting box over next week or so. Truck already has 2 runs of 1/0 gauge, 1 of the D3100 batteries (gotta get other one), stinger roadkill all over. Anyway, decided to go a different route on subs and amps. Should have all in 2 weeks
