Posted May 10, 200520 yr Just like the title says does anyone have any first hand experience with the prototype TC Sounds LMT drivers. What were they like first hand? What size was it and what would you compare it to from your own experience? I am trying to figure out if the SS LMT is gonna really be a viable single woofer solution for me or if I should go with a dual setup of lesser woofers. ThanksJerry
May 10, 200520 yr There are a few LMT proto's floating around somewhere. I believe someone over on SD has one/some. However, those will not be the same as the driver being offered by SS.

May 11, 200520 yr the protos had around 48mm xmax and used a 3hp motor. The rl-s will have around 38mm xmax and use a 3hp motor. Oh, and they both utilize LMT! I almost forgot.
May 11, 200520 yr Admin on SD someone is selling a single if not a pair of 4hp 18's, those have got to be out of this world
May 12, 200520 yr 4hp = Ti Pro<{POST_SNAPBACK}><{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ti Pro and Team RF subs. Shocker Sigs are similar but most use 3" coils for lighter cone assemblies for pure spl I believe. Some have 4" coils however..

Gets DOWN like a mofo too.....If these sound anything like the prototype, you guys are in for a real treat.
