on the e8's what does the e stand for?

There are never dumb questions, only dumb answers and i don't know the answer to yours. Sorry for not helping you at all.

    Jacob did them to mirror the amps, the SAE, SAX, and SAZ series. Like the Z15", he has the E8" (which is discontinued BTW) and the X8".

    E actually has a meaning "Entry Level" series. Most of the other letters are just cool part number letters that match the amps :)

    ooh thanks jacob... "just cool part number lettters" thats great man keep up the great work. im trying to get my brother to come off of his and put em in the maxima but hes a tuff egg to crack. hopefully.....hopefully i can get em.
