I am looking for some mids to put in my doors and wondering if these can do the trick. Id like to use 2 in each door off a SAX100.4. Then some dome tweets on the a-pillar off a SAX50.4. Like to use SSA but these are the only "speakers" they carry. Properly installed with deadening, can these round out my system. Id love to glass the doors with a nice setup but dont have the skills or the funds right now for that. I get tired of not being able to clearly hear the vocals, guitar, drums, etc. All my truck info is in the sig. All suggestions or comments are welcome.

Ive been told and seen it posted that a 6.5" will fit in my door between the window/door lock button panel and the door pocket. Ive measured just to make sure and it seems like a tight fit. Am I under the right assumption?

I see that they have free shipping on the bottom of the description page for the MLI-65 as do most products on SSA but when I put 4 in my cart the shipping goes to 12.49. Any reason why it does that?

Well I just bought 2 of them last night and a 30 sqft package of damplifier lite. Dont know how far I will go with the doors so I just bought a little to check it out. I'll try one in each door for now and go from there. I cant wait to see how they sound!

I am going to do something similar to get some more mid bass in my Yukon and these look like they will be an option.

Im planning on running two pairs also so when yours is compete Ill be starting on me so keep us updated.

The install might be a little slow as I have a lot of projects. Only get to work on them on the weekends so time is limited but will post as soon as they are installed. I can't wait to hear them! I haven't really gotten into tweets yet but I will look into Seas as I hear a lot of people have and like them.
