Posted May 16, 200520 yr hey all, i was just wondering, how much of an improvement in spl and sq (in your opinion) if any will i get switching my LI in for an RL-P i just ordered?? All with the same amt of power about 550-600w, and same box (but shrinking the internal volume by .75 cubic feet.) and tuning it around 30-32 hz.
May 17, 200520 yr Author you could tune to 28hz, that would be what mike reccomends<{POST_SNAPBACK}>kay i talked to mike and he told me to tune it to 31-32 hz but okay!

May 17, 200520 yr Just to clear up any potential confusion (this one's for you denim! ) .. I generally tend to advocate a slightly higher tuning for the 12's (30-34 Hz) as opposed to the 15's (28-32 Hz) - and, if I know a bit more about the environment the woofer is going into, that may play a role in what I may ultimately recommend. .. and then there's the whole matter of personal taste  In short, you could get away with a fairly wide range of tuning
