Ok if I build a box that has a port that 'folds' would that be just as good as a regualr port?

Yes its very crudely drawn but I just wanna know. Also is there a name or terminology for that type of port?

so if I was looking to tune the box to a certian Hz and I made a port like that instead of a straight out port it would sound the same?

If your using a standard port design and you break it down to look like that vs a standard L-shaped port should not really have any audible difference.

For a beginner yes stick with a standard L-Shaped slot port. Hifonics? Personally I would buy Sundown. :fing34:
