Yea, I didnt think it was either, but all the amps I posted do rated power, then some. and the sundown has a 'supposedly horrible' eff ratio.. Im so confused now.. I was just gonna get the 4500D plus the BTLs but then my friend told me about that eff thing now Im lost lol

Yeah, i think so, but i dont have my sub stage and front stage battling over who is louder, so its pretty goddamn loud but its pretty even and nice. I have not had the pleasure to play with the BTLS but the little brother the bl is pretty crazy sub, you could always do two Bl's on a SAZ-3000d buy it refurbished from www.db-r.com 555 before shipping b-stock. that's what i spent

Well they said 86% @ 4 ohms at 100Hz is bad, and showed me these.. I was surprised myself. Im planning on 2 BTLs so I was counting on 2 of the other amps listed, I want 2kw rms atleast on each. So the 4500D is perfect right? 2 ohms on the subs, 1ohm at the amp.

holy shit 555 total? and I would but I am addicted to louder, so its BTL all the way for me probably gonna cost around 3Gs for me

IMO It seems like your not ready for a big system like your planning. Your going to need 2-4 2400 per amp depending on amp. And big 3 is upgrading your main grounds and power wires under hood.

Nope big 3 is from alternator + to battery Alternator - to chassis the chassis to - terminal on battery (I used 1/0 wire). if you don't plan on runnning your system with your car off you should go with the Deka batteries they're half the price and do 100 AH's per 9a31 batteries for 187 and shipping.

The SAZ-3500D would be the best amp for you. The 4500 is more geared towards SPL applications as it likes extremely low ohm loads.

IMO It seems like your not ready for a big system like your planning. Your going to need 2-4 2400 per amp depending on amp. And big 3 is upgrading your main grounds and power wires under hood.

The alternators grounds/outputs and stuff right? Also my cars battery is in the trunk, so yea.. But I can handle it, Im just being mislead in so many ways lol

There is no harm in under powering subwoofers, and if its not enough buy another amplifier and link em'

I've learned you dont have to push the subs to their limits.

So its only gonna put out 3100 at 1ohm?

if I remember right, the 4500 was one of the last amps tested, so the battery was a bit drained. if you have a very solid electrical you could see a bit more, and if you ran it at a lower ohm load (not sure its recommended to) you'd see a ton more than that 4650 if the voltage didnt drop to 11.6 volts.

Of the amplifiers mentioned, the Sundown SAZ-3500D or Rockford are your best choices and best value.

So just forget about the whole eff thing? with the 4ohm 100hz 86%? And I was thinking what if I get the 2000D, one for each sub, would that be fine?

also is the 3500D underrated? Should I expect around 4kw or 3500-3800kw?
