September 22, 200915 yr Exactly, clean power and not over done more power is not bad to have. I have 200wrms going to each mid and 200wrms to each tweeter (both rated at 75wrms) without an issue FWIW...... but then again I'm not trying to keep up with a large sub install.

September 22, 200915 yr And realize that you will NOT hear them sound any louder with 150 over 100, but you will eventually do something dumb and wreck them. Pretty much a given since you are asking the question.Oh, and no way in hell will those even come close to "keeping up"
September 22, 200915 yr i have a 15" BTL off around 2000 watts and for the doors i only have Alpine Type-S Components 6.5s that i picked up at best buy a while backeach pair cost me about $110 equaling around $220 all together. and i have o say i'm astounded at the sound qualitythey "keep up" just fine for me and the doors have no deadening either just throwing that out there. i'm sure there's a best buy near you and hen you can even preview them for yourself and get a warranty.
