Posted September 26, 200915 yr i have 2 fi ssd 10's and was wondering what speaker size the terminals are? or what could i fit/need in them? and also i have some scrap 8 AWG power wire laying around could i use this as speaker wire??noob question i know but i figure you guys know better than anyone.ThanksMatt Cusack

Its all personal preference but 8,10, 12, 13 is acceptable.
September 26, 200915 yr 12-10 gauge should be more than enough.You can use your extra power cable, might have to trim off a little if it doesn't fit.

September 26, 200915 yr Yes, copper is copper, nothing magical that makes it either "speaker" or "power" wire.
September 27, 200915 yr Well, technically, speaker wire has two leads (+ and -) while power wire only has one. But there is no difference in the actual conductor, you're right.
