Yeah its a rumor I personally talked to stetsom and they said the amps can be used for daily. And I was going to wire the subs in series wire to sub & wire to the amp no paralel wiring so wont that be a 2ohm load?

you are mistaken! when we talk about series it is just like adding! so 2 plus 2 = 4!!

when you put a sub in parellel the ohm load will drop by half. so 2ohm plus 2 more ohms in parellel = 1ohm!

now if you get your sub in a duel 1ohm you can wire it to a 0.5ohm load or a 2ohm load!

but if you get 2 subs that are duel 2ohm you cna wire the sub to 2 ohms! by one sub at 1ohm and the other sub at 1ohm also then put the 2 subs in series to get a 2ohm load!

Well the nonimal independence on the hdc3 sub is 1.8-1.9ohms So what if I wire it paralell making it 1.3-1.4ohms and then it will go up after independence rise making it close to 2ohms wont it?

well you can't bank on impedance rise and fall. banking on that is a two way street. it will go up and it will go down. and if it is even 1.5ohm perciol that is a 0.75 ohm load.

and 1.8 and 1.8 in parellel is like .9 ohm load

Okay thanks & like I was saying the stetsom 4k2d amp is not 1ohm stable it puts out max power @ 2ohms (like kicker amps) and only one sub will be hooked up to this amp so you said get a dual 1ohm sub instead of a dual 2ohm sub?

yep! if you plan on using the stetsom get a duel 1 ohm sub and if you get the saz or AQ get a duel 2 ohm sub!!
