Hey guys, well i bought my ute mid last year and have been pondering a full stereo setup for a while now. Being a single cab hilux i'm a bit tight on room for a sub since the passenger seat is fixed, and am not keen on the new slimline subs. So i finally got around to making a custom fibreglass box that sits behind the seats. At this stage the install is at about 80% completion, as my funds have dried up due to University.

The gear im using is

Headunit: JVC KW-AVX626 7" Touchscreen

Splits: MB Quart RVF 216 (snagged a pair of originals before they changed to german maestro)

Sub: Alpine 12" Type S Dual 4ohm voice coil (only full size 12 i could fit without using a slimline)

Amps: Twister F2-500 bridged for the sub, and hopefully a Zed Leviathan to run the MB's active

Fiberglass crazy (Ive never did fiberglassed before, but you and others make all that hard work turn into a piece of art) . Good job on the install man, cant wait till its done. I was wondering what you were gonna put behind that amp but as I kept scrolling down, the plexiglass answered my question.
