Hey folks.

I'm here to learn more about car audio. I've got a 2006 MINI Cooper S that has a piss poor OEM system and a lot of road noise.

I've decided I will do sound deadening and audio system improvement. I have a handle on what I am going to do for the deadening, but the audio part is a maze right now. An item that would help me immediately is recommendations for shops to listen to speakers in the Southern California area.

Thanks for your help.

Paul

Glad you could join us, and good luck with getting out the maze.

From my limited research, it appears to go from maze to addiction!

Yeah I feel you on that, Im love the addiction (this time I want to try and control it, no need for more car audio sitting around the house than installed in the car).

Welcome, glad you joined !

Welcome, I'd try google for shops, that's how I found some DD dealers here in Lubbock. Just have to check them out sometimes lol, because It said four were here, and I only found one that was still open or even in the same lot.

Welcome to SSA, sweet car. :)

Welcome, you picked the right place to learn IMO. If my memory serves me correct there is a few build logs here for the same vehicle you have, always cool to check out what others have done to see if they had any problems or good ideas you can apply to your vehicle.
