i am going to be powering an Audioque 4X90 and an Audioque 2200D, was wondering if the planned electrical upgrades would be sufficient enough.

Kinetik HC1800 up front and another Kinetik HC1800 in the back

Knukonceptz KonFused +/- Battery Terminals for both batteries

1/0 ga welder's cable for big 3 upgrade

1/0 ga welder's cable for power/ground run from front to back

1/0 ga welder's cable for 2200D

4 ga welder's cable for 4X90

Knukonceptz KonFUSED High Current In-Line Fuse Holders ran after second battery in rear, 3x 30A fuses for the 4X90 and 3x 100A fuses for the 2200D

8 ga wire for the subs

10 ga wire for the components

haven't decided if i will need a h.o. alternator or not, what do you think?

so what are you driving and what is your current alts amperage?

for me i have a sax100.4, saz2000d, 2-batcap 2000's and a 200amp h/o at full tilt i get about ~13.3volts so for me the h/o helps out a lot i used to get about ~12-11.7 volts. but not no more since i got my h/o.

if you plan to pound your system for extended time periods a h/o would help you out. also what are your goals? just a daily system to ppound and to show up those kids with crappy best buy setups? or do you plan on going an spl route?

chevy c1500 and i believe the stock alternator is 100A

this is a daily driver setup

nice ride!! and for daily system and those 2 1800 you should be jsut fine but make sure to buy a volt meter and keep an eye on those volts! llol!

i woudl suggest you use the RED one b/c at night time the blue is really bright!!!

enjoy and good luck! and be sure to post a build log and some pics and a video if you can!!

how loud do you plan on listening to this to and how often?

100 amp alt to power the vehicle plus a setup that can draw well over 200 amps might be pushing it depending on your listening habits. plus as voltage starts to drop the amp will start to pull even more current which will further worsen the problem.

I personally think the Kinetik HC1800 with a Kinetik HC2000 would be better for you, get a voltmeter and watch voltage (if still having problems then a HO Alternator will be your next step).

Horrible amount of information but just listen to what I suggested earlier, if you can find a larger alternator for your car than that will help also ( if not get a charger and charge your batteries ever now and then).
