February 3, 201015 yr Author no blow thru. figured i would just rock the shit out of the cab . yet to do the big 3 but its extremely easy to do on the v6 vortecs so ill get around to it.
February 3, 201015 yr right on. did you do any deadening to the cab? is 16" deep with the interior panel still in place, is the rear seat still in?

February 3, 201015 yr Author right on. did you do any deadening to the cab? is 16" deep with the interior panel still in place, is the rear seat still in?i dont have rear seats. and the interior panel is still in, i didnt feel like tearing the truck apart just in case if i change the setup sometime in the future. And no deadning. i hope soon tho. i plan on bagging my truck so thats going to be a hell of a setback.

February 3, 201015 yr it would be sweet if you boys could help me out.np, i can help with the basics.....first off, do you have access to re's box designer....RE Enclosure Calculatorhave you used it or use it currently?

February 3, 201015 yr i will look in two secs, my mouse is on fire hear, lol.....i have five windows open, plus texting chicago fan and rattlebox....
February 3, 201015 yr Internal volume is below the minimum recommended and its not tuned to the 32hz you want. I got it at 4.59ft^3 @ 33.66hz
February 3, 201015 yr Author i guess the re calc just isnt working with me. scott told me it would be fine to run smaller than 5 cubes. bromo you wanna make some dims for me then please?
February 3, 201015 yr the numbers you have posted would reflect the 41 x 16 x 20 that you are after.....the port length and width you listed would tune you at 32.77hz. and give you a volume of 4.8 cubes.....i do not know how much air space you need yet, i gotta look that up, or you can tell me.
February 3, 201015 yr Unless your gonna run ungodly amounts of power I dont see the point of going below recommended box size, you should just get a smaller sub it will perform better in a 4.5-5 ft^3 since that is the room you have for it. Just my .02
February 3, 201015 yr you gotta give us some more space. them panels will come out easy enough without tearing them to shit. and they are easy to replace from the junkyard if you do.
February 3, 201015 yr Author well. when iwas in vegas scott told me it would be fine if i put my 18 in my truck with those dims.. he actually sat in my truck and said yeah you can easily fit your btl in here. and if i were to take the panling out i wont even get 1/2 and inch of more room. ill go measure and see what i can get.
February 3, 201015 yr the 20" high, where does that put the top of the box? will you be in any comps?is 41 wide as tight as you can go?
February 3, 201015 yr yeah see what you can squeeze in there....numbers don't lie....we gotta get you more space from somewhere.you don't want a skimpy box for that beast.
