Ok so this will be my official build log of my 94 Acura Legend Mobile Car Audio/Video Project.

I will keep this thread updated with pics and videos of the project. The goal for this project is to build a Audio/Video System that is aimed for Daily Driving """SQL""" but also has some impressive SPL.

I drive this car 100miles/day so reliable is important, I have allready done allot of visual upgrades and performance upgrades to the car allready :

Here is the car when I first bought it for $700 Totalled:

Will be ordering the SSA XCON 15 D2 Tomorrow!

Looking good sir. keep us updated.

Maan now you got me thinking of getting a totalled car and fixing it up but I dont have the body work experience to do this (very impressive man, I gotta give you that on bringing the car back to life) :drink40: . Good equipment you have there, and even better equipment being added. fing05.gif

nice

I'm more impressed with restoring the car, to how it is.

That's one of my favorite cars of all time! Keep it, looks nice.

Very nice body work! Looking foward to seeing the end result of this one

thanks.....

are you considering murdering it out completly at some point?

just curious with the blacked out features it already has.

I like the build so far, looking good.

r u going with a enclosure in the trunk firing forward, sealed off?

curious what sub enclosure plans you have with that XCON, you said SQ with impressive SPL......so far you are on the right track, great sounding sub.

The enclousure plans are to raise the trunk floor an inch, then convert the spare tire well into the enclosure so I can flush mount the subwoofer, so it will be firing vertical instead of horizontal.

The only thing im not sure on yet is sealed or ported, if I ported it I would shoot for 35hz and port it into the passenger compartment, but I love how tight sealed sounds and this sub has the capability, so im not sure yet.

I hate those kinda terminals since it is hard to overtighten them to wire without stripping the thread on the little turn piece, plus the wiring can slip out if not tight enough or getting pulled someway or somehow. Just my .02 but keep the build log going.
