What I planned on doing is glueing a layer of plexiglass over the top of painted mdf. I want it to dry clear so there will be no glue marks. Is there anything out there that can do this? I have looked and all I could find was plexi to plexi glue. Any finds would be greatly appreciated.

Check this out:

They talk about how to join plexi together.

I dont want to join plexi together. I just want to glue the plexi ontop of the painted mdf and I want the glue to dry clear so I cannot tell it is there. Thank you for looking though.

The only thing I can think of is a clear silicone adhesive.

No problem man.

you could maybe, spread the silicone glue out so you dont see a bead.

Naw that wouldnt work because that is what I was thinking about but since he has the painted wood it would still show up (even though the silicone is clear its not invisible and I think the OP wants an invisible like substance).

i havent painted the wood yet. I ordered a florescent green plexi that will be glued to the port. If I dont pain the mdf will it look stupid?
