Hello to my friends in the audio world... As the title states... i was wondering what would get louder.. four 15'' fi q on 3000 watts or four 15''fi ssd on same said power...it would be in the same enclousure and same port freq....30 hz there about... i guess what i am really asking is...would the Qs get louder thant the ssd even with 750 watts to each....thanks for help in advance

most likely the q's would move more but it all depends on the enclosure type, i believe the q's have more excursion

I think that the Q's would handle the low end a lot better than the SSD's but the SSD's would probably be a bit louder than the Q's. But dont take that statement for granted because the Q's in the right enclosure can get crazy loud. Just my opinion.

neither... if you want output look at the bl or btl. last time i checked the bl is about the same price as a Q.

i live in the carribean.. $30 is a extra $100 lol...... but yea i would take ur advice... wish my old model BL could work with the 2009 models

sounds like a plan... i am surley looking in the BL direction now .... just liked the idea of four 15'' cause where i am from not much ppl got 15's .... i got one 15'' bL now and i get hats off... although 18'' would have a wow effect here too hmmmmm....

So its 400 dollars to get the BLs instead of the Qs? Man, if I was low on cash, I would go SSDs or Qs. Its more about the box than anything.
