Well 25 + 3 = 28, and 28 + 2 = 30

But

9 x 3 = 27, and 27 + 2 = 29

Ok so i figured it out.

In fact the owed $8.33 each because if he overcharged them by $5, 25/3 = 8.33. So technically he is still overcharging them.

To the Pepsi Machine in the hall. Just like spending 2.50 at the lobby when the machine is 1 dollar this question makes no sense.

Your doin the math wrong.

They paid 30 total. 5 change is coming back so they actually paid 8.33 a piece. As such thats 25 bucks (one paid 8.34). The other dollar never dissapeared.

10x3=30

30-2=28 (2 the bell hop stole)

28-3=25 (the 3 dollar refund)

So it all adds up.

Lets say these are the two monsters. Choice one and ask it a question.

If you ask the liar will you eat me it can't tell you as soon as you tell which one is telling the true and it knows to eat you or not.

truth monster=a liar=b

Say to one what will the other tell me if i ask if it is the liar and pick the one that you are told is the liar as the truth monster(a).

If you happen to ask the truth(a) monster, he will say that the other(b) will say that he(a) is the liar. If you happen to ask the liar(b) he will say that the other (a) will say himself(a) is the liar.
