Get them based of your preferences not someone else's. If your going to just have them for competition then get the slp version and if your just jamming for daily and musical purposes then get the daily version. If you want to wire one subwoofer dual 1 ohm to 2 ohms or .5 ohms or you can get a dual 2 ohm and wire to 1 ohms or 4 ohms. So it depends on your needs and setup and not anybody else's.

Steve has the D2s with high xmax and full cooling, daily tolerances. Just the standard daily version of a BTL.
