would it be silly to put some clear nail polish on it to protect it do it does not fade or protect it from scratches?

its a silver paint marker aint it? i'd say don't screw w/ it...the polish may smear it.....

nothing out of the ordinary, just was not sure when combined with the heat of the cone and some sun exposure it might fade

the cone on my friend's type r broke from a cooler sliding into it, those cones aren't that strong
