i got a soundstream sa-164 a cpl months back its in mint cond. was it worth the $40? also what yr were these made

also i recently traded a pair of 6x9 boxes for a brand new alpine mrd-m300 v12 i like how it tell u the volts, current ,an temp. i have it hooked to a pc power supply in my room and it will jump up to about 11.0 amps before it shuts off the power supply. my alt. in my car is bad so i havent tried it in there yet. now my ? is can anyone tell me the average amps it might pull at 14.4v?

you are asking what kind a current will the mrd-m300 pull on 14.4volts? well i think i need some more info, like how much power is it outputing or what is the ohm load. if you recal to find current you need voltage and resistance and that is ohm law! I=V/R and also I=P/V or Root (P/R)

I doubt it since music is dynamic it wont be pulling the same amps all the time, the best way to tell is hook it up and see while using a device to show you the amps being pulled (but it shouldnt be that many).

Wow, if you got a working amp in exchange for some worthless 6x9 boxes you made out like a bandit.

If you're running that amp hard it may pull about 25 amps from your car.

the amp it self tells me how many amps its pullin and puttin it in my car is pointless my alt is going bad thats y my treo 15's are setting in my bedroom

but yeah works perfect sounds great still looks brand new
