Im planning to take out back seats and wall 4x12" subs, how does that sound ?

Subs would be SPL dynamics V300D2. And run them around 3-4kw RMS.

But there is second option also 2x15" subs, what do you think, what would be nicer ? 2x15 or 4x12 ? i prefer 4x12.

Why did you choose VW ?

Because it's small and it should be great SPL car and cheap.

4 x 12" in that car should be insanely loud!

Car is about $900-1000 and should be in good condition. so i have some money to work with. i already have 2 subs just have to order other 2. Also should have money to get new amp, because my kenwood can't even power 2 of them. Also wall material and a lot of wiring.

Since you already have two of the subs just buy two more and start the wall.

don't forget the late 80's -early 90's honda crx will do the same as the rabbit it a small car with awesome possibilities. also there is a motor swap kit for the crx here at this link super exhaust etc so there are a few options for it and you. also i would go with the four 12's i think you have more surface area with the four twelves.

Cause he probably doesnt have a room for a box to throw 4 - 12"s subwoofers in the car without it being a wall ..

I say 6x12. I see they don't need much for a box - 1.5-2 cub. ft. each.

I like it, especially with the Euro bumpers and lower front lip. My best friends first car was an 82, so I got fairly familiar with that car and all the little bits, so it is not too hard to work on nor are the parts that expensive. I would suggest some extensive sound deadening.

yeah this is 1989. it has 1,8 engine on it with some mods, so it should be good, and a lot of parts are changed. price is $800

i like where you are going with this. nice looking ride, and the price is right!

the four 12's should sound great. i would chat with shizzzon on about the wall for a sec though.

if it the look you are after, then cool, i am into walled out cars, but it does not provide much room for the bass to mature, unload.

you might find some other designs that would provide a little more sound without adding a crap load of power.
