Posted January 2, 201015 yr i recently sold my 2 Fi Q's (12") and was very happy with that product. i am looking to step up to the BL's now and i am just curious what everyone thinks. i love sound quality but i love that head cracking brutal punch u in the chest type output more. the Q's had great output but i understand that they are more of a sound quality woofer. does anyone think that the BL's ( 2 - 12") would slap that much harder that i would notice? they will be powered by a saz-2000d. also they will be in the same exact set-up as the Q's were. thanks for looking and i appreciate any input.
January 2, 201015 yr What size box and tuning? Im pretty sure it would be a difference since they were made with two different goals in mind, with the Q being an SQ woofer and you want more then go buy the BL's and give us a nice review.

January 3, 201015 yr You know, I am currently torn between the two BL and Q. I am not looking for the highest decibel levels, but I wanna move a lot of air. The BL has only 18mm Xmax, the Q has 27mm Xmax. Thats 9mm more than the BL, it should move more air, have more SQ and take the same amount of power Right? Thanks for any input.
January 3, 201015 yr Xmax is nice, but it is not the only parameter that determines the performance of a subwoofer. . .Just the box design alone can determine how much of that Xmax you really even need.
