Where are you located?
January 7, 201015 yr Author louisiana, i've heard that the b&c's back when i was livin in fla and they are loud as shit but im trying to keep the cost as low as i can but still have decent stuff even though this is goin to be an on goin project i want to see how much can be done with out really breaking the bank. im not out to have the most badass top of the line stuff i want to stay middle of the road on this. when i get another vehicle i'll go bigger and better

Honestly your best bet is just to scrap the idea and get some Image Dynamic Horns, these will rip your head off and you only need a pair and they will be louder than how many ever speakers you plan on putting in your car. But if I do have some Eminence's and 1 O2 Audio speaker for (bought in Florida while at school for 150 for a single speaker, shits on an Eminence). Just to let you know that pro audio stuff gets expensive.
January 7, 201015 yr curious to what the model of the o2 speaker is and where can I see specs of it? How would it compare to the mli65s? I would pay that kind of money if it were a great midrange speaker.
January 7, 201015 yr Author i used to have some of the id horns they scream pretty good i have some good connects i can get stuff for cheap and im fully aware how pricy the can be, what school did you go to there Edited January 7, 201015 yr by CaptinPower

The O2 Audio speaker is a midrange speaker and that is it, they are made for two different goals in mind.Oxygen Audio USA Power Neodymium Mid-Ranges: OM-605ND-4, OM-605ND PRO, OM-6906ND, OM-509ND, OM-609ND-4, OM-809ND-4I have the first one on the picture at top. They do make a midbass speaker though, it doesnt get as low as the Mach 5 Audio.

Yeah I had hella fun in Tallahassee, the best college town ever; there was FAMU, FSU and TCC down there.
January 7, 201015 yr So the horns werent good/loud enough for you or you just want to go a different route?
January 7, 201015 yr Author i had those years ago and i had to kinda give up caraudio stuff for school but now im back and doin jobs here and there and im making my car like rollin advertising and for my own enjoyment. so thats kinda why im shoting for a lil wow factor
January 7, 201015 yr Ok I got you, check out these speakers if you want some good midrange speakers. I was gonna get them before I got these horns but decided to go with some horns this route since I have had the 20+ plus speakers in a Saturn Ion, you talking about a nice advertisement vehicle while being in school. Since that is the trend in Florida, I did a good amount of installs because of my setup.

Hopefully this is a good question for the thread. Those midranges o2s look so sexy. I want!

Hopefully this is a good question for the thread. Those midranges o2s look so sexy. I want!Midbass's typically imply that they can't play into the midrange. High frequency to a midbass is usually 500Hz. Tweeters on the other hand rarely are effective much below 1500Hz. Therefore with only two drivers you normally look for a woofer that can play both the midrange frequencies and the midbass frequencies.*yes of course there are tons of exceptions that go beyond the limits I used for frequency and by no means are those numbers anywhere near stone
