well i am looking for a good brand after market alternator, if you know of any help me out,

excessive amperage, iraggi, mechman, dc power.

im rather partial to iraggi, but that's because i own one.

i hear good things about dc. very good things

I second the DC. That's who I've decided to go with.

Dont forget Ohio. They are known for good alts but their old sales guy is a bit weird.

^^^^ Who is it Herbert from Family guy?

also OP, pm me for some DC power info as it can't be publicly posted yet.

lol, they don't know me by screenname but i am still loyal. No public leaks until release date...

its funny because shizzzon's mechman alternator shitted on him. :D Sorry Sean. :bull:

My girlfriend's DC Power alt is the lower SP line and at idle (~700rpm) it sits at 15 volts while with headlights, heater, and system (1500 watts) on blast only drops to 14.8 volts still at idle.

I didn't.... the pulley on it was too large for my car, therefore the idle rating was 2x as high as real world testing...

Also, the Bridge Rectifier inside mine wasn't efficient enough because it lost 54A on a stress test i did one time...

Due to the Rectifier alone... well.. let's just say, you all will know in March. I hate low efficiency and i prefer to only use high efficiency with self-protect regulators.

In a hobby like this, it's not worth the risk to lose an alt that can get abused.

DC power has high idle ratings, wouldnt wana stall ata red light now would we?! hahah :suicide-santa:

Go big or go home.

Shouldnt be jammin at a red light in the first place.
