med_gallery_10399_356_69084.jpg

I DIDN'T want to wrap the whole door so these will just be pods. I will make sure they are solid and the door is reinforced also. I will resin some washers into the fabric and bolt ALL THE WAY through the door panel and door metal and probably an oak cross piece inside the door also.

I am beat for the day but am HAPPY with the progress. I will start wraping the pods in the morning.biggrin.gif

Damn it man, you worked your ass off today.

Great start.

What brand resin do you use and what is the work time with it before it jells?

Excellent progress for the day bro :drink40:

I like to hit it hard when I do. My last pods only took 8 hrs but the back of them was wood. I think I am doing good concidering I am building 4 pods at once.trink40.gif

I got the resin at the the auto body store, its "Evercoat" brand. It doesn't seem like theres much diff between brands as far as I can tell.

I was just wingin' it on the hardner because I was only mixing 8 oz. at a time. I was doing like 35-40 drips for 8 oz. and it started to gel after about 20 minutes. I used like 7 or 8 brushes and a ton of gloves.tongue.gif

Damn so that is were my foil went :drink40: , keep up the great work.
