The Type-r is no slouch compared to most 6 1/2" drivers, but will never have the midbass of a 10". I am stoked.

I went to the upholstery shop and found another vinyl I think I will use this time. The color match better, but not the grain texture.

The small piece on the left is the last stuff I used, the piece in the middle is my a-pillar.

med_gallery_10399_356_68335.jpg

Here's the piece I cut off the door.

med_gallery_10399_356_604393.jpg

The old stuff has the same texture as the car and gives that three tone look. If I don't like the lighter stuff when I am, done I will switch back.

Nice work! Very impressive front stage! Looking forward to more progress pics .... popcorn.gif

Other than cutting the holes in the doors, I haven't had the chance to do a whole lot, Because of the honey do list.

I just started working on them again this morning, SO progress pics probably today.

Also I am getting two door packs of Damplifier Pro from the brown santa any minute, which is the only other real hold up.biggrin.gif
