Ok.. ive seen this in these forums before.. just never fully understood. can one of you pro's explain to me the method used to securely and safely mount these beast's into their box? Maybe even a direct link to a picture of what i need. I also want something that will take a thief along time to unscrew if the little bastards go for my system. Just go ahead and ignore this thread once we get a good answer posted, let it fall to the bottom,. Appreciate your help.

T-Nuts and Bolts FTW.

I wouldn't use anything other than T-Nuts and bolts to mount larger drivers like the BTL. Screws destroy the wood and make it almost impossible to re-use the enclosure.

x2, another plus for the enclosure i am using is that you can't take the sub out without sliding the box out....and it's bolted down solid

Yes, you sure can. Just drill a hole the sice of the bolts your using where your screw holes are.

As long as you don't plan on taking out the sub very often (or, like me, never), screws are ok. Different heads on the screws helps with theft prevention. But ideally, yes t-nuts or bolts are better.
