Posted February 6, 201015 yr OK, I know that this topic will piss off 95.9999% of you guys, lol. But am using a AQ2200D and wanting to know which sub would be most suited for its intended purpose. Am deciding between the IA DR or DP. Am just wanting to know which would be most suited with the power. Am using either for a daily driver that sounds good but can get loud. Thanks

And out of curiosity what happened with the Fi Q 15? Last I read you were going to get the Fi and run it off that same amp.

I bougth it because i didnt want to buy an spl sub and it sound like shit, like others that i have bougth. Ive been on SSA for a while now and heard about SPL subs that have very good SQ. Sometimes you gotta make these decisions on your own we cant walk you through it. Both will handle the amp and will work well. Also if your that torn between the two then get in contact with the company and share your goals and ask them for there input since they built and played with both subs.
February 6, 201015 yr Admin It is not going to piss people off, we here at SSA strive to make topics actually beneficial and productive, not a bunch of goobers throwing out useless opinions on products they know nothing about and have no idea what is the best direction for the person asking the question. The idea is to provide as much info about what you are going for to help the people who are experienced enough to guide you in the right direction with correct information that is based on facts and experience, not hype or BS (there are plenty of sub-par forums out there for sub-par topics).

I spoke to Nick a few times within the last 2 wks, but it was about the DR. I've since came into some extra money so i was thinking about the DP. February 6, 201015 yr If you came in with the some more money then go with the DP since it will be louder and outperform the DR on the same amount of watts plus you have enough power for it. Just my .02
February 6, 201015 yr I am not big on buying a subwoofer because of how it looks, but the DP is on of my favorite looking subs on the market! Love the black chrome not to mention the bad arse logo. If I wanted to get a subwoofer to show off , the DP would be the one. Ha I know that in no way helps you, just wanted to express my feelings on the DP.Good luck searching. Make sure you take your time and do your home work
