I was just wondering, if when adding a port to your box do I minus the width of port and then I'll have my true area of space the actual woofers will be in?

Doh... I re-read the question! Yes it will give you the true area the speaker will be in.

If you mean subtract the volume of the port and then you'll have the true volume the woofers will be in, then yes. If it is an internal port, obviously.

I look at the thread I couldn't find that throughout all out the other forums thanks. This will be the first box I'm ever going to build if you haven't notice. So fellas wish me luck.
