OK so i have my stinger battery hooked to my car battery positive to positive then the negative one the stinger battery is ground from here do i just connect the power from my amp to my positive battery terminal and ground the negative or do i hook the ground to my negative battery terminal?

You can run the positive wire from the batt straight to the amp. You can use the negative on the batt to the amp or another proper grounding location, whichever you prefer.

^^^x2, either way will be sufficient (if battery is close to amp then I would just mount it to battery). Just my .02
