x2, that is the only way to tell.

I've heard/read the opti stuff isnt that bad.

All the specs seem to be okay to me. Except this one.

Frequency Response: 50-300 Hz

That seems really high to me. 50? But it doesnt mean everything.:)

I hope you have a killer deal on these opti's.

Is it your only option ?

There are so much subs people know much about, around this forum!

(I don't know if my last sentence really mean something !!! peepwall.gif )

lol

50Hz the lowest? That seems really high to me. The Solo X was 20Hz.. They might sound louder might not hit the lows as hard. Just my .02.

from the freq response it seems like a fart cannon, just for SPL. i was looking into them but when i saw the 50-200hz it worried me a lot.

you could afford a Fi BL or Q for that price. same with a lot of other subs. i know the Lanzar's run about 300 dollars each.

Even 40hz is high. I just ordered an Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection 12 for 189 plus shipping and the low end response on that is 15Hz.

how much do you want to spend in total. how big of a box can you fit. what kinda power do you have? answer those question then people will be able to help better.

50hz thats my only concern

Cone area normally triumphs, don't worry about frequency response in your scenario. Especially for a sub.
