March 10, 201015 yr Which model Toyota you talking about? Cause i heard the prius has a computer glitch, and since everything is run off the computer( brakes, shifter, gas pedal etc.) its a lil nerve racking when your car keeps going and you cant do nothing they teach you in drivers ed. And the media HA, its a joke. its run by a couple big corporations that want to increase there profits, so ya they bull most of the time. more people that watch it means more money for them.
March 10, 201015 yr This reminds me of that audio where a woman calls 911 saying she can't get out of her car or something and the cop had to tell her to unlock her doors to get out?
March 10, 201015 yr Americans don't buy american cars no more. Beautiful cars are german, budget cars are japanese."They" needed to do something.I really don't think Toyota can have such brake problem on quite ALL their cars. In european countries Toyota calls back a lot of models : yaris, auris, prius,...Now it sounds like a little marketing trick to show how they care. BTW in France you must have pass a written exam, you need.at least 35 pts on 40. Then you Must have 20 hours minimum of driving lessons to go to the driving exam. 90% of the cars have manual transmission. Automatic is for people with handicap, or rich drivers. Always an option on cars.
March 11, 201015 yr You'd be surprised what drivers don't know. I was at autozone the other day and overheard the manager talking to a customer. He asked if the customer's car was an automatic or manual transmission. The customer didn't know and had to ask what the difference was Which model Toyota you talking about? March 12, 201015 yr Author WOW...it's almost like the guy in the video took the thoughts right out of my head!!!!!
March 12, 201015 yr ahem. ford blew the whistle on this. that's why it's becoming a big deal. i would still buy a toyota over a ford. simple as that. propaganda. people shouldn't be allowed to drive. fuck team conan, i'm team toyotahere's my monologue:if your car starts accelerating without your permission, step on the pucking brake. not slowing down fast enough? try moving that little stick thing in the middle of the console to the letter N. huh?you don't know what that means? that means terminate your whiny worthless existence on this planet. you are a waste of sperm and should not be allowed to live
March 12, 201015 yr Ha, sweet video.Have you ever turned your wheel in your car without it running while sitting still? It's tough to turn but it still turns. Once you are rolling and inertia comes into play along with air underneath the vehicle causing lift, steering is easier. You don't actually have power steering, you have power ASSISTED steering. The pump moving fluid simply makes it easier to steer. It's not a necessity. Have you ever seen a Jaguar XJR-15? It's a super car and guess what, it has no power steering. Power steering was an option on many cars until the late 80s. Only then did the manufacturers start making it standard equipment, and only because they had to.Hell many of the best handling cars today still don't have power steering. Many unapproachable in price, but the Lotus Elise is "affordable" and it feels like it has power steering, but does not. When two big union run automakers in the USA are struggling badly due to poor quality products, gov't bail outs, and excessive paychecks and pensions, is it too far fetched for this administration to see who is easiest to attack to divert attention.... Oh maybe the #1 selling brand in the world? Don't forget the special deal the unions cut in terms of health care earlier. You mean the #2 selling brand in the world. I say let the media rip Toyota and then go after Honda & Nissan. They are the reason the cars are more reliable, all media hype in the first place. About time the media re-leveled the field. The whole anti-American BS that has been way overly propagated has to stop and some more of this is well past its due.
March 12, 201015 yr i would still buy a toyota over a ford. simple as that. propaganda. Amusing as you bit the propaganda big time as well. The Ford is more reliable, regularly less boring, and at least as good of a car. Sucks that somehow the media has made a devil of it all and convinced Americans differently.

Sucks that somehow the media has made a devil of it all and convinced Americans differently.i'm confused man.. i meant a 4runner over a explorer, tundra over f 1/250. i guess i'm biased because the three trucks and two ford cars that have gone through out household have had some sort of problems.. the expedition and the f 150 have the triton 5.4. worst motors ever built. one is a 2000 and one is a 2005 and they both tick horribly. replaced the plugs, coil packs ($1000 EACH CAR down the drain) and cleaned the heads and valves to no avail. the f 150 has a vacuum problem and whistles at 2400 rpm and we can't diagnose that. the explorer had 97k miles and the transmission torched itself. both escorts had suspension problems and one had an issue with the gauges and none of them read correctly. the 86 corolla is still going strong and the 94 4runner my neighbor has is rusting pretty badly on the quarters but it still runs perfectly and drives very nice.. unlike the newer fords Edited March 12, 201015 yr by cranberryyumyum
