Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm looking all over the net for some good info and I stumbled upon this site by a fluke I read on few forums that this is a quality amp and seems to be going for a price of $200 which is the top I want to spend on an amp, budget is tight. I've got two sets of coaxial speakers, both Alpine, one is Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. and the other Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. I'm working with limited space of no more than 17''x11'' in an enclosed trunk space, I will attach picture of someone elses car with the location of where I also want to put the amp.

Sundown is top of the line quality. Great amps. And a hell of a deal at close out price. The 50.4 probably does closer to 70 or 80 by 4 as most Sundowns are underrated. I think this would be an excellent choice for your application.

OK, I'm just totally lost on the whole audio thing, it's all chinese to me Just need some reasurance here before i start looking for one since it's sold out

Also what do u think about running it in such a small enclosure with no airflow ? I don't know how hot amps get.

you could wire in a couple of fans if it got hot. One in one out.

x2 on the fans. could always get a sub. they do wonders for music

Yeah, I'm thinking about addin a sub right now, but i got time, will wanna have everything delivered for final install in May.

You could try mounting the amp on the back of the seat.

i run a sax 100.4 on those exact speakers

I ended up buying Image Dynamics CTX65cs for the fronts and gotta measure if I can fit CTX65 coaxials in the back. From what I read these should play nicely on 50.4

That is a great amp and will power those speakers just fine. Very underrated. Awesome customer service...flat out, the best!
