Help me out. Just found a new, unused Ascendant Audio Avalanche 15" subwoofer. Application is for SQ. Looking at sealed design. Wondering what is the ideal dimensions for this beast. Thanks for being patient.

Did you by any chance do some research and check out there website to see what they recommend for an enclosure size, that would of been the first place I went? :peepwall:

Avalanche is no longer available, so it is not on the website.

They run great in 2-2.5 cuft sealed.

I had (4) of them in 11 cuft sealed in my home theater. With 3400 watts and 5 bands of EQ, I had nice response down to ~18 Hz.

Very nice drivers. If I build my IB and don't like it, I will be sad that I sold the 5 avalanches I had.
