I'll hopfully be popping by tues or wed this week if it's cool. Mike should have the box completed and ready for me to reinstall tues morning/early afternoon. IAK!!!

Schweet stuff chop. :captain: :captain: Why take all of the wiring out?

Looks healthy so far!

A little update for Chop. Hes workin 12 hour days and suuuper busy right now. A house full in Indy takes a lot of work sometimes and hes all over it guys. He will update soon. Hopefully real soon, as I am anxious like all of you! :woot: Chop sends his regards to the IAK and SSA fam!

Good to hear all is well with Brother Chop. smile.gif

Too much work is better than no work at all in this economy.. :captain:

Keep bankin' them bucks Chop!!!!!

The install isn't going anywhere, and it all looks cool so far!

I've been kinda busy myself and not on here near as much as I would like. Tis tax season and working at the post office means a little overtime :drink40: I've got the 8's in and causing new issues to deal with (in a good way) with my truck. It looks like more deadener and a need for a better seal in the back window is necessary :drink40: I'm hoping to get together with chop here sometime soon and shoot the shit to catch up.

sorry i have been on the mia list, here is a small update.......

steve bought the first two sheets of 3/4" mdf for my birthday gift.....

every thing is double baffle and attacthted to the truck.

the bottom is a 2 x 4 base, the lower rear has additional 2 x 4 bracing that tapers to a 3/4" piece of birch that is the width of the box and 8" high.

everthing is joined together with tight bond 3 wood glue. all seems are caulked with silicon. 1 5/8" coarse thread drywall screws helped squeeze a couple of the layers together.

the 2 x 4's are bolted through the body on the bottom and glued with liduid nails.

the rear is attacthed via self tapers in the exsisting hat channels of the truck, as well as glued to the surface.

the corners are glued, clamped, and compressed, very few scews are in this build. only four are used on the front 90.

you can see in this pic that i interlocked all of my 90's so there would be no room for air leaks

also the back layer of birch is visible as well.
