March 29, 201015 yr that will be real tight, since the lowest you should go with 2 15"s is 6 cubes w/o sub displacement or port, or you could wall it and make things more interesting
March 29, 201015 yr Author Cant Do a Wall since itll be my daily driver And rear View Mirror Will Be Needed
March 29, 201015 yr I highly doubt you will be able to throw 2-15" BTL's in there respected enclosures in that trunk.
March 30, 201015 yr aw chit, I thought this would be about tapping some tight virgin azz... way out of line.
March 30, 201015 yr Oh yea. I forgot. This is about putting two 15's in the cab of a car. Duh, Now we on same page eh.
March 30, 201015 yr well, you could throw a ton of power at them to make up for the smaller boxNo, bad idea. Instead buy subs that fit the box you can build.

Personally I'd instead focus on getting the most out of your system for your goals and a smaller box and more power won't reach those. A proper box is step one, buying a sub that fits in it is step two. NEVER the other way around.
March 30, 201015 yr Author Well At First I Said To Myself, With 2 15"s Replacing The Rear Seat, The Box Will Be A Little Small But Close To The Cubic Space Of What Is Needed. And Throwing 3000 Watts At Them Will Make Up,But Now Im Pushing More Toward 1 15" BTL And Using Passive Radiator As The Port. That Wat Ill Have Enough Cubes. ?

April 7, 201015 yr Rearview mirrors are over rated. yeah mine always break offFor real, mine does too. With that BTL it will probably fall off anyways, just wall it.
May 12, 201015 yr Author Measurements For The Space I Have To Work With Are As Followed....Height - 20"Depth - 26"Width - 49"What do you guys thinki used a box calculation program off a website and if i remember right its somewhere between 10-11 cubes before port and sub displacement. So i should be starting soon.Just need a Box design.
May 12, 201015 yr Thats about 14 cubes gross. I think it could work using those dimensions, but you have to have space for amp(s) and batterie(s). IMO you would be fine but i'm no expert.
May 12, 201015 yr Make a semi wall, with subs in the trunk facing the back seats. But it will probably be too small!!!Just take off the backseats!
May 12, 201015 yr Author Yeah, my plan is to take out the back seat and make somewhat a half wall.batteries and amps in the trunk
May 13, 201015 yr This is Les Young's mustang coupe, pics from "Auto Sound and Security" September 2001 issue. Sorry the pics suck (my printer/scanner is screwed), but could give you some ideas. He's got 2- 18" Id subs ( custom made ) in what looks like a sealed enclosure in the back seat/trunk of his coupe running off a tube driver 1500 amp in the trunk., Edited May 13, 201015 yr by cobra93
May 13, 201015 yr yeah screw rearview mirrors i rip all mine off cause their gonna fall off anyways just go big or go home build a wall thats all there is to it
