I would't put MY expensive amps through that much stress. Especially for everyday use. Then again, Thats just me.

Well, if its 0.5 ohm stable it SHOULD be able to handle the stress.. :peepwall:

I know my amps are not going to do that. Actually, my sub amp is running at 8 ohm mono. But I wouldn't run any amps that way either.

X2 that is like saying will my amp that is rated at 1ohm run a 1.33 ohm load!! more resistance = less current! less current = easier on your cars electrical!!

Okay, thanks. :fing34: They confused me when they said that ohm load is recommended for an amp stable at 1/2 ohm mono.

Option 1 (series/parallel) = 0.67 ohm load

Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel

Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 1/2 ohm mono
