received a replacement 1200d over a month ago.its been installed about a month.i set the gains with dmm and never play my system hard usually only play to and from work.turned it on this morning, and no sound.so,i got out the car to check my amp,and noticed the power and protect lights are both on.haven't done much testing yet besides disconnecting the rca's and sub wires to find both lights still on....any suggestions as to where i should try troubleshooting this problems?thanks in advance

get a dmm and measure voltage at the amps terminals with all speaker wires disconnected. If it's still in protect, contact sundown.

why would both power and protect be on?

I have never seen one with both lights on.

I would look over the ground connection as a start, though.
