August 19, 201015 yr I am building a new system for my VW CC. The 12" SSA DCON 12D4 is the sub woofer I am going with! I emailed Andrew about building me a box exactly like this one. Love the Kerf porting, double baffle, and flush mount. I had this crazy idea to do an crazy shaped box that had a slanted back wall. So the top would be less deep than the bottom. SEE PICThe reason I was thinking about this shape was it would fit cleaner in my trunk making the most out of the space. The slanted edge would go against the back seat and so I would be able to push the box back farther leaving more room at the front on my trunk.I think this would cause an issue with the internal slot porting, so it probably will not work. If were a sealed box then no problem.Anyhow I really like this box (in it's original shape) and want one exactly like the one build here in this thread!How much and where do I send the $$ !
August 19, 201015 yr I love this box and sub combo. Never heard anything like it. Bass reproduction is, low, controlled, and accurate. No muddiness, or sloppy bass. People who I demo it for thinks I have two twelves or one fifthteen. My computer is down right now, but soon as I get it fixed I will put a video of it up...
