Dust cap is a simple plain black poly cap. Sub performs quite well free air on our 1500D on the bench - looks like this beast would handle a ton more power mechanically and thermally :)

I spoke with PSI about getting an entire new top assembly for my TC 2000 15" (currently limited by soft spiders and small surround), they said it could easily handle 1500 daily. I had it on about 800 and it was nearing it's SQ limits. The motor itself it much beefier than my AA Havoc. Can you post a video of this sucker on the bench?
