I have a blown Pioneer Premier w3002 D2 and I wanted to know , could I get a recone for this sub with Fi parts. Its 1000rms.

Not to tell you what to do or anything..but you can buy a brand new one for 110 bucks from sonic electronix..

If we could do it you'd have more money in shipping and just a ballpark figure of $85 for the recone parts..if we even could build it.

Some things are just not worth fixing anymore. Replacing is cheaper.

Not even worth it...... I don't think it would even be possible due to its weird suspension system in the sub. There are no spiders just an oddly shaped surround on the inside. + this sub has a 2.5 in voice coil and can not take even close to rated power. I say with the money that you save from not trying to get a re-cone put towards getting a better driver.

You all are right, I was just wondering if it could be done, I guess I'm going to get Fi Q or Fi BL.

Still can't decide.

I know Fi Q is SQ and Fi BL is SPL, but I want it to sound good and bang when I want to also. I want to scare the shit out of people when then get in my car. lol but also sound good when I play R&B and jazz. I listen to everything except Rock. I was reading that people were hitting 140 db with one Fi Q 12" . I know it all has to do with the install but if I can hit anywhere near 140db, I'll be happy. Im only getting one 12" , and I have Rockford P1000-1.

Find out what sq really is before you decide on which driver to go with. People use it wrong all the time.

An overall great daily driver from Fi would be the SSD. Great sound and can get plenty loud.

For the record..we do not make SPL subs.

Every single sub we make is made for music...some are simply more extreme than others.
