would a alpine m1000 be a good amp for a fi bl 12? i was going to get the SAZ-1000D but i can get the m1000 for cheaper. there both 1000 rms so i think it would be good

Your Bl won't know the difference. The main reasons people choose Sundown are the unbeatable customer service and the very high quality of their products. Choose whichever amp you won't you won't hear a difference.

One advantage of the Sundown is the variable subsonic filter. I think the Alpine is a fixed SSF filter.

The Apline may only be stable to 2 ohms where the Sundown is stable to 1 ohm. Not sure though on the Alpine.

How much are the amps?

250 for the alpine and 315 for the sundown but if i get the alpine it would be from ebay and the sundown would be from the ssa store

The Alpine WILL NOT have factory warranty through EBAY. The Sundown however will have a full and transferrable warranty. My choice would be with the Sundown for that reason, among several others.
