Posted September 11, 200520 yr HOLLA!im considering buying 2 10" RLi-s for my RSX I have a dual box already .70cf x2 (gross)and several amps at my disposal:either 2 10d4s powered by a Diamond D5600.2 (600+watts)or 2 10D2s powered by a Memphis 500d (kinda small amp ?)orI also own an MTX 801D(675w) for 2 10d2swhat do you fellas think,i am leaning towards using the 5600.2,due to its SQ charectaristics,but is 300-325w ea to small?is my box too big?thx in advance

September 12, 200520 yr im running 900w to my pair of RL-i8s and they're taking it just finewhen i first put in this setup, i wired them to 4 ohms instead of one so the pair was getting less than 400w, and they still got pretty loud

September 12, 200520 yr Author Got anything you want to get rid of <{POST_SNAPBACK}>LOL an audio packrat nah I dont sell much gear anymore,everytime I sell an amp or suba month later I am kicking myself because something comes up I can use it for so now I keep it in my shop for future or friends installsSo,I guess the biggest amp of the 3 , the MTX I should use.......
September 12, 200520 yr well..ur favorite choice is ur only choice as rl-i's only come in dvc4...and the box (if .7 after sub) would be nice,IMO, with that power!wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

September 16, 200519 yr Admin I think the diamond amp might do it well, 300 is more than enough for the RL-i by many accounts
