I have two AQ 12's in a ported box. One of the subs messed up so I'm deciding to upgrade.

Will the Fi ssd 12's work in the same box as the AQ's?..

The box I think is about 4.0 cuft.

Box dimensions and port dimensions will also help.

They're SDC

Dimensions are 27x14hx32L

Ported with two 6" aeros

There is also a length associated with a port.

I believe they're 17" long.

What is the tuning frequency

AQ recommends a higher tuning than Fi .

I wouldn't use the same box unless you changed the ports. Just some quick calculations its tuned close to 40hz.

Definitely can't tune our subs that high...they have enough coil in them to move

You don't need to unload them below tuning to get bottom end out of them..

But I was mistaken on the cu ft.

It's 5 cuft and tuned to about 35-37 hz.

So would I be able to use two ssd's

I could always tune it lower since they're aero's

I'd use aero's and tune to say 32-33Hz.
